Just wondering if anyone has had their blood tested on a bradford microscope. I saw my lyme
bacteria on a live blood analysis that my natropath did. My kids and husband came up with
as well. They are showing some signs but not terrible yet. We have an appt with our lyme doc
in michigan to have the cd-57 done on them. This just stinks! I think I have had this for
20 years. There is a large group in my area (Chicago) that have it. We formed a support
group in case anyone is from our area that would like to join. The meetings are in River Forest.
Anyone doing sea salt/vit c therapy? I added it with my antibiotics and am really herxing from that. I think it is working on my co-infections.
By the way....I got my postive result a few weeks ago. Yeah!!! Nice that the medical community is finally recognizing that i am sick. Let's have a party!

Hi Ruthie,
My doctor used a high morphology microscope which is probably the same thing.
I will never forget his expression. I was extremely sick at the point I met him and he ran this test.
The nurse who ran the test was describing to me in detail what she was seeing and what it meant. It was not good. Then the doctor came in, looked at it silently for a few minutes and turned to me and said "You are very sick".
I wanted to laugh and say, "I didn't need a bloodtest to know that doc!" But, unfortunately, it was no laughing matter.
That was 2 yrs ago. Today I am soooo much better. I hope that will be your story too.

I too was told I was ill when the NP looked out just one slide of my blood. I wanted to scream No s#@^, lady!
She was of the opinion to start heavy duty detoxing immediately at every angle possible. She and I both learned the hard way, that doesn't work with these monster.
It told me things that no duck, Internist, or LLMD could/would tell me. She looked at my blood slides and compared them about 6 times in two years. She did see some progress being made, but not much. Shock, shock to her.
That was about 4 yrs ago. She has since moved to North Carolina where she could practice with a different state guidelines. I was her first lyme & company patient. (That she was aware of)
Two weeks after seeing my blood smear, she had a patient (first timer) come to her because all of this woman's doctors were puzzled by her long term and failing illness.
The NP told this patient, I know your cousin. I just seen her blood smear and you could be blood related. (not DNA wise) This woman finally had something to go after. Tickborne illnesses.
She was from another part of this state, miles away. I wonder how she is? Better, I hope.
