Hi all,

I have been treating lyme disease for around a year now. I have an appointment with my LLMD this week and wanted some advice-

I want to have other things tested via blood. The only thing she tests ever is liver enzymes and CBC. Can you offer any advice?

I was thinking maybe:

B vitamins (B-9, B-12, and B-6)
fibrin (is this a test?)

Anything else? Any other vitamin levels that should be tested? just want to make sure I am not missing something else here. So, anything you found useful during your various treatment regarding blood tests, would be helpful.

Thanks!

Hi!

Guess it depends on your symptoms and dr on what tests they order. Our llmd did not test magnesium or B-6, but did prescribe supplements.

Because of fatigue, B-12 was checked by our PCP, borderline low. LLMD checked and it was just a little low. Each DR can interpret results differently also. Our llmd said he would treat ever borderline low B-12, PCP would not.

If you are concerned with nutrition, your llmd can refer you to a dietician.

Good Luck! MommaK
