I use Zithromax and Mepron. I have added Bactrim to my combo because of Bartonella that I also have. Addition of Bactrim has trully removed my Bartonella symptoms such as stiffness and painfull feet in the morning or some 'burning' skin.
If you don't have Bartonella I don't know if Bactrim is needed in your case.
I should add that I took Levaquin for a month against Bartonella and there was some help with Bartonella symptoms but Bactrim seemed to help better.
I kinda wonder why Bactrim is not used more often against Bartonella.

that's the thing- i am not sure if i have bartonella. i do have the burning skin, lots of tingling, vibrations- but these could also be lyme i think, so it is hard to tell.
i think i recently heard that bactrim also has an effect on babs too, which i think i have due to nightsweats (although these too could be bart i think).
thanks a lot for your response!
