Hi all- I'm on IV Rocephin and have been since January 10th.The week before last I had to take a break (four days) from it because my blood pressure went up (unrelated to the rocephin).

I NEVER had any GI problems on it before- no nausea, diarrhea etc. Shocking but my body actually seemed to like it. Since restarting a little over a week ago I have been very nauseous and had chills. At first I thouught it was a herx but this has gone on much longer than my herxes.

Any insight appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Mtndog,

Do you mean did the 4 day break from IV Rocephen cause nausea for days?

I pulsed IV Rocephen: 4 days on (twice a day,) 3 days off for 6 months. I was fine.

Everyone is different.

What does your LLMD say?
