I am trying to find out before my appt. Monday afternoon, is Claforan safe for the gallbladder? I was under the impression that it was completely gallbladder safe but am not sure. I had an attack with Rocephin in December and don't want to risk any trouble like that because there's no way I can handle surgery right now. I can't take Actigall due to some problems I had with it, so that's out.

Hey big A...
My suggestion for a getting an answer like that would be to contact your local pharmacist. They have the most up to date drug information available.

From what I understand Claforan is safer to use then rocephin because it does NOT cause gallbladder problems.
