I posted a few weeks ago that I have the Beta-HCG tumor marker coming up. They did CAT scan (without dye-I'm allergic) and could not find anything "significant". Now they found another tumor marker called : Anti-hu Antibody.
Had full body PET scan today. Don't know results yet.

Anybody heard anything about Beta-HCG and /or Anti-hu Antibody coming up positive in people with Lyme?

Just wondering...why are they checking for tumor markers? Have you had trouble in that area?

The Beta-HCG was tested by pure accident when in the ER. It is actually the pregnancy hormone....I have had a complete and total hysterectomy 20+ yrs ago and am 50 yrs old. NOT pregnant.
The Anti-hu antibody was run by my neurologist because of symptoms, and came up positive.
