I know you're all probably thinking "you probably just have a cold". It is that season after all.

The difference here is that along with congestion and a sore throat I am achy all over and am having nerve pain and numbness down my entire right side with pins and needles in my right hand and foot. The spot in my neck is very sore again and the vision in my right eye is messed up as well as my right ear and sinus. The eye/ear/neck/sinus combo is nothing new, it's just worse than usual right now.

Maybe I'm herxing AND have a cold? I've been on Zithromax 5 weeks now and have mycoplasma so maybe it's a myco herx.

Just thought I'd ask b/c I know a herx can cause flu-like symptoms but don't know if congestion and sore throat fall into that category.

My experience has been that with lyme and co-infections anything is possible...

Now I'm also having pain in my sinus and ear and it feels like I have fluid in my ear and behind my eye and the sore spot in my neck is really bad. Can anyone relate to this as well?

This sore spot in my neck definitely feels related to what's going on with my sinus/ear/eye. Can't help but think it's some kind of really deep infection. I'm worried about this b/c I've had it for a year to varying degrees and none of the umpteen dr's have really addressed it. Even the ENT told me I was fine after looking at me for about 5 min.

I just got a new primary care dr. but haven't seen him yet and am wondering if I should go or if I'll just get the same run-around.
