i have had a weird change in my mouth since last summer that has not gone away...thickening of both cheeks with a red dot in the center of each, also...bumps on the inside of my upper and lower lips, occasional burning sensation, and also two seemingly ends of blood vessels that become periodically inflamed.
so...i went to see an ear nose and throat specialist last summer....he looked briefly at the two red spots, said he "guaranteed me that i didn't have cancer" and then did an endoscopy (?) and told me i had acid reflux.
i went again to this same doctor last week and showed him the bumps under my lip....he said they are cysts from salivary glands or something and told me again that they were not cancer.
however, i am still worrying about my mouth...he didn't really seem to acknowledge the fact that i have some sort of smooth lesion-like thing on both of my cheeks...although he did look in that general area at the red spots.
i know i have bartonella...it is my primary problem....and i have purple dot-like rashes on both thighs and a nodule on my right arm. could these mouth symptoms be related or do i need to get a biopsy? the ear nose and throat specialist didnt even mention a biopsy and he seemed so sure of himself that i had trouble speaking up.
at the same time, i realize that my bartonella anxiety/panic symptoms are making me even more frightened about my mouth than perhaps i should be. i have been 2 months on bactrim/zithromax and have seen drastic improvement in all my symptoms but my mouth/rashes/nodules have not changed.
do people with bartonella get biopsies of all the weird stuff that comes up because of it? should i also see a dermatologist for my thighs?
i forgot to mention....i currently don't have a dentist...is an ear nose and throat specialist capable of assuring me i don't have oral cancer or do i need to see a dentist?
sorry for all the questions. i am thoroughly confused.

i do not have bart so no knowledge there, but i do offer this advise.
find yourself a LYME LITERATE DENTIST to go to assure whether this is SOMETHING to be really concerned about or part of lyme co-infections or WHATEVER else.
i know you said you didn't have one, but you need someone LYME LITERATE!
