I will probably need to have hernia surgery very soon in my very lower right abdomen/groin area while my lyme has been affecting me all over from my waist to my thighs. I'm very worried about that and if it might make me sicker.

The herniated area is getting worse and worse - all the symptoms of a hernia while an old scar (testicular cancer surgery 8 years ago is getting wider and wider).

Anybody here have any tips? Stay on or off antibiotics/Mepron? I know to stress not to have ANY steroids during surgery.
