I am currently taking 2 800/160 Septras a day,

2 rifammpins 600 mg a day, and 1 250 mg

erythromycin for my diagnosis of lyme and

bartonella and I was wondering if this was

effective enough? I'm still having eye pain,

fatigue, and joint twitches. Just looking for

some opinions.. thanks so much.

That sounds like a lot of medications. You don't say how long you've been on it.

If you aren't familiar with the Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction, you can do a search and read up on it. In a nutshell, you will feel like crap from the die off of the bacteria.

For my daughter, it lasted almost two years.
She did Rifampin and Zithromax.

Don't neglect your vitamin D. If it's below 32, you should think about supplementing. That seemed to give my daughter a boost.

How long have you been sick?
