United Health Care has paid all meds and followed their general guidelines in reimbursing for out of network MDs. Not a huge amount, but it sure helps.

It actually depends on a lot on the doctor and how they code your forms. Some doctors know the system much better than others.

An HMO will be a lot more difficult than a PPO that reimburses for a large part of out-of-network costs.

My ins. has paid for all rx's so far and has never denied me iv therapy for the past ten years. Knock on wood and Thanking the Good Lord for his faithfulness.

After I meet my deductible, they reimburse 70% of the office visits.

They have never given me a problem with labs- (full reimbursement for Igenex), or mri's etc.

Like I said, Thanking God!
