For a few days now, I've been feeling like I drank gallons of booze the night before followed up with a meal of foie gras, deep fried lard, a few chocolate clairs and maybe a Black Forest cake. My liver somehow feels clogged and greasy (?!) All I want to do is gulp down 6 Alka-Seltzers...which I don't plan to do.
I've been on zithromax 500 mg since March 7, Plaquenil 400 mg since March 16, and doxycycline 400 mg since March 29.
Do you think this is an adverse reaction to the abx on the part of my liver or simply more bacteria toxins (herx) than my liver can handle?

Many doctors believe damage to the gut is the true source of chronic illness. Once the gut is damaged, we become susceptable to bacterias, parasites, heavy metals, etc.
You do not have to have stomach issues to have Leaky Gut.
I truly believe this is why some of us become so sick with lyme while others are not bothered.

Could be BOTH and/or gallbladder problems. Luvs is right. Check out her link!

Good points on liver and gallbladder.
YOu may want to access www.inno-vita.com or www.systemicformulas.com for references of practitioners in your area that use their supplements. If the liver does not work well, virtually every other organ in the body will have a tougher time. Jack Tips, ND, wrote "Your Liver, Your Lifeline" over 20 years ago and it is now called "The Healing Triad", I believe. It is the best book I have seen and used for helping livers. Should be available on www.amazon.com and / or www.drjacktips.com
