Hi!

Do you know what dose? It depends on the dose. Some examples I've seen are (1 gm or 2 gm), once or twice a day, 4 days per week or 7 days per week, IV drip or IV push (saves on tubing cost) etc.

Me daughter started on a higher dose and had home health, but now the dose is lower and she does everything herself. The price we have paid for self pay is between $700 and 1000 per week, including supplies. This also includes another IV medication so you might be able to pay less!

Try calling around to different infusion companies and drug stores to get price quotes. I did and it is saving money. Some supply the drugs in different ways that may be convenient but more expensive.

We found a place that was very helpful and also is equipped for onsite infusion as well as home infusion. You can go there for your first dose if needed and they can show you everything.

Good luck!
