What abx do you take with Flagyl? What sucess have you had with the combination?

I have been on 1500 mg of Flagyl for 1 month along with 1000 mg of Penicill VK. Although Flagyl has given me the herx of a lifetime. I'm determined to stay on it. I just want to make sure the combo I'm taking with it is the most effective. There is little info out there about Penicill VK treating lyme, so I just want to make sure my LLMD has me on the correct combo.

I thank you in advance for any information provided!

Tetracycline wouldn't be a bad choice possibly. How's your stomach? Minocycline might be useful as well.

I used bicillian LA with Flagyl. Had the most and the fastest improvement of all on this combo but was not a cure. That's quite a lot of Flagyl. It's hard to know what to do and if your sick from the bugs or the abx! If you've been sick for awhile, it'll take awhile to get well. You may give some thought, (if your able), to using less abx for a much longer period of time. If your loaded up with both abx and bugs, about all you can do is lay in bed with both eyes in the same socket!
