I got bit by a bug of some sort while I was traveling to Yosemite Park, CA. The only symptom I have a few days afterwards is FEVER - around 99.5 -99.8 and feeling "hot".
Any ideas?

Hey there,

Always better safe than sorry. I would push to get some antibiotics and fast.

You are writing here so I assume you think it was a tick and you may know something about lyme if you have read any of the threads here.

How long ago were you bitten?

Sometimes the other symptoms take a while to develop. Just because right now it's only a fever, doesn't mean other symptoms won't show up later.

Unfortunately, there are no clear answers.
