Hi there, I'm wondering how often most people take Florastor? My doc originally said to take it once a week, but the bottle says 1-2 times a day, so I have been taking it twice a day, plus I raised my amount of probiotics last week, and I think my body is rebelling. I need to figure out the right dosage of both. What is the norm for this stuff? Thanks!

My llmd told me to take one pill every other day.

My naturopath told me to take one pill every day.

I take one every day. It's a bit pricey but I feel it is worth it.

I take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening (instructed by my LLMD).

Some people can't tolerate the Florastor. See other links on that subject here on Lymenet.

IF you're taking a "regular" probiotic, it's usually taken at least twice a day.

Thanks, why is there such a difference in the dosages from doctor to doctor? And what are the symptoms if you can't tolerate it? I think maybe twice a day was too much for me, so am going to try to do it every other day and see how that goes.

Every doctor has their own opinion on how much is "right."

I think those who have trouble report digestive upset the most.
