I think vasculitis is a part of Lyme symptoms. I had that also.

I got that about the time that my orthostatic hypotension showed up. Don't know if they are related or not but it wouldn't surprise me.

There have been other discussions about this so you might want to try a search.

Hi,
Somewhere I read that Burrascano said Lyme is a vascular disease - I can't tell you where, I have studied for years these subjects for my site. But HBO for Lyme Vasculitis is suppose to help: http://www.drneubauerhbo.com/Lyme.pdf

My own opinion - I am sure we all have our vascular systems effected by this disease.

six months before my lyme/bart symptoms appeared I had a DVT in my right calf. Really scary as some broke off and went into my lungs. I think now that it was really brought on by the bart/lyme. Some valves in leg were permanently damaged and blood pools in my leg when I stand on it for a long time. It's gotten a little better over the years but I still feel like I need to wear a compression stocking at work and when I'm flying or driving a long distance. I also have little veins that sprouted out on that leg.

You might want to check out my post "unidentified rash":

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=066010#000008

I have a "rash" that looks like veins and the responses helped me identify what it is.

I don't know if it's the same as what you're talking about but it is worth a try.

Yes Adamm,

Please check out Forest Nymphs thread--just in case.

If those pictures don't look like you, have you ever seen the photos in this months Public Health Alert, on page 2? They're interesting! You can get there from Nymphs thread.

If Nymphs pictures aren't you, then I also had spider veins on the tops of my hands. There was a real good thread about that sometime I believe in the last month. You could try a search under--I think--"spider."

But you have them all over your body. Don't know. What could be going on with you?
