Just went to a new duck today. My friend actually works for him. He is not a llmd but does believe in chronic lyme and treating things alternative. He ia an internist who offers a intravenous vitamin therapy of mag. and b vitamins. This is done in office for 40 dollars
Any thoughts at this point I will try anything.
thanks Teresa

Teresa, I think Vit IV's are great. Another option is to do Vit B intramuscular injections yourself at home. It is quite inexpensive. You might consider going in for one IV treatment, then asking for a prescription for the do-it-at-home variety.

I do Vitamin C IV therapy 2 x a month (although it cost 85 bucks out here!)
The first three times I did it, it didn't hlpe that much. Then, I had a major herx reaction from it, which for me is needed because I was taking all these meds and not getting very far.

I used to go to the Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Center. They gave me lots of expensive IV drips & shots.
They didn't really help me much... I don't think they are bad but in my case - it wasn't worth the expense.
I guess if you feel it may help & you can afford it - try it. If it doesn't help - discontinue it.
I've just come to think that food based vitamins are better then the synthetic ones. You may do just as well buying a very good quality food based supplement at the health food store. Just an educated guess, though.

I have been doing intravenous vitamin therapy for months and it has really increased my energy and made me look healthier.
I get a glutahione push followed by a B-12 with folic acid push followed by an IV bag of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, and Vitamin C.
I think more LLMDs supplement with magnesium and B vitamins than stay away from them.
