Does clonapin/clonazepam/lorazepam et al. have the same interactions with diflucan? If not, maybe you could replace the xanax with these anti-anxiety meds...
Just a thought...

My daughter got drug induced hepatitis from a long protocal of diflucan. It increased the levels of all of the other meds she was on at the time.
My recommendation is to never take diflucan with any other drug. Wait at least a couple of hours before you take your xanex or anything else.
Also talk to the pharmacist and ask what he/she recommends. They will be the best help.

I take ativan and diflucan also. I make sure to take it about 3 hours away from one another.
Oddly enough, my pharmacist said that they did not interact. She explained to me if it was a high risk, something shows up in their computer and they call the doctor.
Low risk and they don't even tell you about it.
To be on the safe side, I take it away from my ativan. Do the same for peace of mind and for safety's sake. Lord knows we have been told a mill of wrong information and have suffered because of it.
