I have my appointment scheduled for May 29th,Yay!!
But I made a terrible mistake, and was feeling good and went out with friends, and had a beer.
I have been sleeping for 3 days now. Extreme Dizzy spells that won't go away!!
No matter what I do it is continuous! Can't look up down or any direction. Back is in Extreme pain too.
Thrush in mouth is in high gear. Went to immediate care Dr. He gave me Nystatin for mouth, and Antivert 25 mg, is this just Dramamine? Will this help?
Has anyone else been told Western Blot test are a sham test and not a reliable test? Posts: 17 | From rockford, illinois | Registered: Apr 2008

I tried Antivert for my vertigo when I first relapsed with Lyme. It didn't help me, but there are a number of meds that do help. It just depends on the person. Also, the wrist pressure point thingies helped me some.
Good luck. Dealing with dizziness has been one of my more annoying symptoms. Just be careful moving around. It's easy to fall with vertigo. I even fell out of the shower one day. Posts: 168 | From Delaware | Registered: Aug 2005

It's not good for you, but Diet Coke helps with my vertigo. I use it as a last resort.

The beer was probably a bad idea....
That may be some of the cause of your vertigo. And the cause of your yeast/thrush.
A couple months ago I went to bar bingo with my husband. He had a few glasses. I only had ONE sip of his and gave me yeast problems that I had to get Diflucan to clear up.
Vertigo can be lyme/co-infection related. I know how you feel. I hate vertigo/dizziness.
