Is it worth the investment! There are many FAR INFRARED SAUNAS in sale right now.

I hate to breathe hot air so I bought the "tent" type version of FIR where your head sticks out the top.
I use it three times per week and it works great. I definately feel better after using it and my investment was minimal. I was lucky enought to find one for $189 including shipping.
At first, my husband thought it was a piece of junk - now he thinks it's the greatest thing on Earth!

for those of you using infrared saunas, what do you take to replace minerals and electrolytes. I haven't been replacing them.

I just bought the Sunlight Solo unit, arrived yesterday, 2500 (gulp) and my wife freaked.
I hope to take it on it's maiden voyage tonight.
I put it out in the shed where she won't have to look at it.

Good grief! Why would you pay double for the same thing!
I told you guys, call Therasage, tell them you are a Lyme patient! You may get a discount even more! They are great with Lyme patients and the products that I have are all awesome.

Those are pretty expensive. Does anyone feel it's absolutely worth the value?

What is the benefit of the sauna over just a really hot and long bath. We don't have the money to spare right now but I really want to get better. Just looking for some information..Thanks

A warm bath with Sea Salt or Epsom Salts works well, too. It will draw out toxins.
If you are still pretty sick then it's best to go slow (ten minutes or so) and work your way up. Make sure to drink fluids while you are in the bath. An herbal tea is nice and it will help you work up a sweat, too.

I am doing the hot bath with epsom salt. All it does for me is make my legs itch like crazy. Is this a detox progress or dry skin? I just keep pouring the salt in buy the bucket full thinking it will help.
