Over the past three days, I have stopped all antibiotics and supplements (under the direction of my LLMD) in order to get ready for a parasite test--which I will take tomorrow (stool sample).

For antibiotics, I've been taking Mepron and Zith--focusing on Babesia (three weeks--just diagnosed).

This morning, I visited my chiropractor. She also uses acupuncture in her treatment. The acupuncture focuses on immune points--supporting my immune system.

This afternoon, I slept for a few hours--feeling very tired after my chiro visit. When I woke up, I had a fever of 100.5. In the entire year of my treatment, I have not had a fever or even a cold.

I'm wondering if this fever is good/bad--or maybe neither. Any thoughts on this?

Boy, that is a tough one.

Fever can come with different TBI's, but it seems most lymies think babs when they hear fever.

The 3rd or 4th week of treatment with mepron tends to be the hardest.... I know it was for me. Not a lot of pain but I was so tired I couldn't move.

Fever, being a symptom of babs, can also be a symptom of a herx or the babs itself.

My fevers were always low... 99.5 or 99.

Then again, sometimes a fever is just a fever.

I've probably had Lyme and Babs for twenty years--I remember symptoms as far back as college. But I never had a fever with the other symptoms.

This morning, the fever is gone.

I'm relapsing with a mild fever 98.9. I can feel it, because this is high for me.

I've been treating with doxy the last 5 months, so can this be babs rearing its ugly head. I am also starting plaquenil to the mix.

Can I use Buhner's cryptolepsis with these abx?

Anyone?

Thanks,
CherylSue
