The bottoms of my feet, especially the right one, stay dark red. It's worse after taking a hot bath.

My feet sometimes itch and it's painful to walk.

I think somebody said red feet is babesia, but I can't remember?

Do you know?

I'm not sure what it indicates but I've always had red heels - so red people ask me if they're painful.

I'd like to know the answer, too...

Both of my feet will get really red, hot and flushed. Mine get worse after showering too. It is on the heels, but also on the tops. I'm not sure if it is the lyme or babesia, but the babesia is associated with hot flashes so that might be what is causing the redness.

The soles of my feet and palms of my hands are always a beefy red color while the rest of me is pale. Kinda creepy looking. If I have a sweating episode at night my palms will turn purply red and swell up. Its been getting worse over the past year. Don't know why but i'd be interested in learning more about it. I guess it's just one of those symptoms that don't get mentioned much since it isn't life threatening/altering.

after a shower my legs from about mid-thigh down are red for about an hour or so. I always thought it was blood pooling in the legs, from autonomic symptoms.
