So, I had blood smears done and run through a microscope designed specifically for looking into blood cells, platelets, etc. Have many of you had this done?
The entire time we looked at everything I was completely fascinated; didn't take me long to distinguish what was what........and I have pictures of several things.
I do have mycoplasma, it looks very interesting (not surprised by this, BUT hadn't been tested yet), I can see the "chetes" in my B cells, and I can see the cysts built up in the cells......can also see how poorly my white cells are functioning. Also saw some adrenal issues, some hypoglycemia issues in the cells (their color is different; this is from the adrenal stuff), and I am on the anemic side also. my blood has A LOT of yeast in it....I have been on Nystatin since Oct 07, and I am careful about what I eat.
I posted the other night about the differences in Nystatin and Diflucan, and because the Diflucan penetrates beyond the intestines, I am being switched to it but have to have liver checked monthly.
I am on it every 3rd day to start. I am back on Doxy daily (took first dose tonight, gotta love that stomach upset it causes at first), and will be taking my Zithro every third day.........I just hope I don't have a major herx from the Diflucan with all the yeast in there.
My hormone tests have been sent, and I had a few specialized blood tests pulled because I wanted to see a few things, and since I am paying for it, the Nurse Practitioner didn't hassle me over it...........I am liking her more and more.
If anyone is interested in seeing the pictures, I will gladly email them to you if you will PM me your email addresses......you can zoom in on the picture fairly well and things are marked on the page so you can tell what you are looking at, but I will gladly explain if anyone wants to know what they are looking at
I am just amazed about all this........everyone I have shown it to today has been also....have two clients with "suspected" lyme that have called and set up appointments already to establish with her and get their blood looked at.

I have actually started seeing a Nurse Practitioner recently in the hopes that she can help with my adrenal issues.
I didn't know it at the time, but she is ILADS certified (I am pretty sure she is the only ILADS anything in my state as we don't have Lyme disease or co's here, so says the CDC) and has set part of her practice up as a lab and was able to obtain this particular microscope,so I literally saw it as she was doing it......
I do know Fry does it........I AM STILL AMAZED! As long as they send you pictures with explanations I am sure the set up will be more or less like mine.......I am really glad I did it...
