These were my Western Blot results - does this really mean I am positive like my doc said?

I dont understand the 'abnormal'? Does this mean I caught it early? (I am on Doxy 100mg x 2/day for 21 days)

I am going to go out on a limb and say present-abnormal means it isn't supposed to be there.

Just a guess. What lab did your test?

You really need to find a LLMD as Lyme is a clinical diagnosis based on symptoms

Only supported by bloodwork.

You have a positive Western Blot. Please post under seeking doctors to find an experienced Lyme doc. You are on too low a dose of doxy for too short of a time.

Dr. B's guidelines say 300-600 mg per day! Plus 21 days is not long enough.

Stick around, keep reading. [Smile]

Right. Normal would be no band present.

Which lab is a good question.

Please find an LLMD ASAP!

The whole 'abnormal' thing was throwing me off too -

I went to Lab Corp for both the Lyme Titer and the Western Blot. That is the only lab that accepts my insurance.

I am going to contact an LLMD today and schedule an appt.

I don't want this biting me in the butt later(pardon the pun)

Any other advice is welcome - thanks for the responses.
