I finally have a dx after feeling bad for 15 months
Can someone provide me their thoughts on these results

IGM

23-25 ++
31 ++
34 IND
39 IND
41 +
83-93 +

IGG

31+
34 IND
41 +
66 +

bab igg < 1:20
Bab igm < 1:40

Both of these test appear to be negative

Bart IGM < 1:20
Bart IGG 1:80

Seems like positive

My doctor put me on 6000 mg per day of Amox. It does not appear to be working yet, although I have only been on it for 2 weeks

Other than probiotics, should I take anything else. MY LLMD suggested that I limit any other herbs to just one item at a time.

My research suggests enzyme, magnesium or co enz 10 . Any help with be appreciated

Tony

That is a positive lyme test.

Not sure about the Babs or Bart since I don't know what the numbers are SUPPOSED to be.

But I'm glad you finally have your diagnosis and on your way to wellness!

Do you have a doctor AND an LLMD. I'm confused on that from reading your post.

It can take a long time before you feel any progress or herx.

I took Probenecid with the amoxy to keep the amoxy in my system more consistently. I took 2500 mg. amoxy three times daily.

Are you seeing an LLMD? If not, I would find one soon.

Bands 83-93 alone means you have Lyme... then add all the others!!!

This is what Dr C of MO says about those bands:

"83: This is the DNA or genetic material of Borrelia burgdorferi. It is the same thing as the 93, based upon the medical literature. But laboratories vary in assigning significance to the 83 versus the 93.

93: The DNA or genetic material of Borrelia burgdorferi."

Read about the WB and about all of the other bands here:

Magnesium is a supplement I couldn't go without.

I also take a really good probiotic (theralac), take Omega 3 and 6.

I used to do B-12 injections, but now take the Rx. B-12.

I take vitamin C as well.

Watch your diet. My LLMD recommends Sugar Busters.

With all of those antibiotics, yeast can go crazy.

I know I take more supplements, but this is all I can recall tonight. [shake]

Read Dr. B's treatment guidelines. He mentions many supplements/vitamins, etc

That are a vital part of treatment.

Hugs,

Geneal

Co-Q-10 is good too.

However, if you are on Plaquenil don't take C - it reduces it's effectiveness.

You can get Omega-3's from Flax-Seed oil capsules - the fish oil capsules are just disgusting.

Also, don't drink while on abx, it reduces effectiveness - and like the previous post says - stay away from sugar...I'm avoiding anything made from flour as well - with the exceptions of fruits and veggies that are considered carbs (carrots, yams, etc.) I am eating those - also brown rice and whole wheat cous cous is good substitute.

Good luck!
