Hi there,

I just spoke with my LLMDs office.

I wanted to see what my own experts had to say I knew to come here [Wink] .

I was only able to speak to the nurse and I don't have the results in front of me. I am going off of memory.

I am back to the phase of doubting my dx again. I have been through this before and I know it will pass...but that is where I am right now.

All my autoimmune testing is negative again..good sign. Liver and kidney function is good. No anemia.

Here is what I am wondering about. I could not afford to have another Igenex test run. The one I had done 2 years ago showed only Lyme IGG..IND and Bartonella IGG..Positive. Everything else on the test was negative.

Since I didn't have the money to use them again I gave my LLMD the go ahead to use Stonybrook lab. I know this isn't a very good lab but my insurance paid it and I am getting treatment.

My last Stoneybrook showed everything negative. This time it showed Lyme IGG..IND. Bartonella IGG..IND. Everything else including Babesia was negative.

What does it mean when your results from a particular lab go from negative to IND? I consider IND to be positive because they do see something.

Is it a good sign that the results are showing IND? Does it mean because of my treatment I am killing something?

I know this was a long whiney post so thanks for sticking with it.

Any opinions on the lab changes would be really appreciated.

Thanks kit

kit,

i have NO stoneybrooke experience at all, but i do have a question for you.

does stoneybrooke NOT break down ALL THE PROTEIN BANDS, 16, on their results like igenex does???

if you went from neg. to IND ...they see something but not enough to definitely say it's lyme! that's my opinion, and i'm sticking to it!

I don't THINK Stonybrook tests for all bands. Doesn't the test result show bands, at all??

I agree that an IND shows "something"... so would NOT take it as a negative.

As for it being IND one time and positive or negative another... is just a fluctuation in the sensitivity of the test, in my opinion.

You could take the test again next week and it may show positive, who knows?

The BANDS are what is important, in my mind.
