Has anyone ever heard of Lyme causing low or zero sperm count?? My husband and I have a beautiful daughter...couldn't get pregnant after that. All my tests were normal as far as getting pregnant. Continued to try for several months with different meds, injections, etc. NOTHING!! So my husband was tested twice and found to have zero sperm count. About 9 months later we are treating him for Chronic Lyme. He has had Lyme symtpoms for about a year. Could those little b****rds kill off the the little swimmers??

Well Lyme can cause testicular pain and problems..so I am sure it is very likely. Many bacterial and viral issues can cause it too.
This article mentions Mycoplasma as a cause:
"If excessive white blood cells or bacteria (more than 1 million/cc) are seen in a semen specimen, cultures should be done. This usually includes cultures for commonly asymptomatic, sexually-transmitted diseases including mycoplasma, ureaplasma and chlamydia".

there are many things that can cause infertility in men. I would recommend discussing the possibilities with his doc and seeing what the cause is and if it is reversible.
i am not a doc but i also wonder if it is possible to produce sperm but not ejaculate them? because i heard that in women, it is possible to produce eggs and not drop them.
just wanted to mention that incase it is an option to investigate.
best of luck!
