I HAVE ALREADY DONE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF IV ROCEPHIN...IT WENT WELL FOR THE MOST PART. HAD ONE EPISODE OF TREMORS AND WAS THROWING UP (ONCE)...NOW I STARTED IV PRIMAXIN AND HAVE HAD 3 DOSES SO FAR...

AFTER FIRST DOSE DEVELOPED BAD PAIN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HEAD...FEELS TOWARD THE SURFACE RATHER THAN DEEP LIKE NORMAL HEAD ACHES...THERE IS A LITTLE SWELLING ON THE RIGHT SIDE WHERE THE PAIN PRIMARILY IS.

CAN'T SEE IT TOO WELL BUT CAN DEF. FELL A DIFFERENCE FROM THE OTHER SIDE. HAS BEEN LIKE THAT FOR 3 DAYS NOW.

HOURS AFTER THE THIRD DOSE GOT VERY DIZZY AND NAUSIOUS THREW UP A FEW TIMES AND IT DIDN'T SEEM MY STOMACH HAD BROKEN MUCH DOWN. THERE WAS A WHOLE PILL IN THERE THAT I HAD TAKEN 6 HOURS PREVIOUSLY.

I DID SPEND SOME TIME IN THE SUN YESTERDAY AND THOUGHT THAT MAYBE THAT SOULD HAVE SOMETING TO DO WITH IT. ANY IDEAS OF INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

Hey surf...

Sorry to hear you are having it so rough!

May I suggest? This sounds like a call to the doctor. Anytime you are vomiting and your head swells.. they should be advised.

My head swells and the pain is nasty... but I have been doing this for years. I can't say in your case what is going on... and no one can for sure... so I really hope you call your doctor and let them know.

Thoughts to consider...

Are you taking your oral meds WITH food?

Are you familiar with a "herx"?

Simple questions but I don't know what you already know or don't... so want to be sure.

Feel better soon and lettuce no what the doctor says.
