I am plauged by many issues since my flu like symptoms started in 94. A have a couple of questions. Does anyone ever get cold sensations on any particular area of the body and no place else? Or goose bumps on just one body part and no place else?...ei. right leg.I will get a cold patch on my right thigh as if someone is pooring cold water on it. Or on my calf and no place else on my body. Then I will get goose bumps on that leg and no place else on my body. The goose bumps hurt like mad. As if I'm being stung by thousands's of bees. My skin also gets really sensative and can't be touched.I've had seven EMG's and were all inconclusive for nerve impengement. Only nerve degeneration at my C-6/7. I also get the same thing in my right arm. Along with extreme bone pain in the ulna. The area over that bone even gets pink and heated. I wasn't sure if it was Osteomylitis or infection??Secondly, I have some questionable labs. Hepatitis A IgG is Positive HBsAb PositiveHepA Ab-IgM NegativeHepatitis C NegativeWhen I questioned my Rheumo, he said it was because I had the Hep A antibodies in my system. I had the Hep B and Hep A vacine. Although I never had the 2nd Hep A vacine. I know that the Hep A vacine used was a live virus strain. If someone with an autioimmune disease or Lyme be more suceptible to becomming ill from these types of vaccines? Or does anyone know what this means? Or can Lyme mess with these labs?

Definitely. Lately my right ankle feels like there is cold water on it, but only when I walk outside on a cool morning. It gets me every time - I would SWEAR there is something cold and wet running down my leg.

I believe it's a form of neuropathy. I also get numbness (very top of scalp and back of scalp, but not middle). Half of the top of my left hand, never my right....I could go on. All very isolated glitches.

It happens to me as well. Very annoying, it starts with one leg, only from the knee down on the side. Sometimes it's cool and sometimes it burns. Sometimes it feels like there's a swarm of bugs on me.

Not pleasant.

Ok, right now it's both shins and they are tingly and my ankles are numb. Time to move around......or go back to bed.

Pretty sure I overdid it yesterday.

Yes, I do too....I developed Raynauds (secondary due to LD) in both feet. My legs also get like this....ICE cold, white and numb.

My skin used to "hurt" just to touch it. That hasn't happened in awhile but I still get it from time to time.

Yes - I get the cold patches as well - complete with goosebumps. The goosebumps are usually confined only to one area such as as a large round patch on my thigh or lower leg, or a patch on my ribs, etc. - not the whole limb - just a portion.

My LLMD looked at me like I was crazy! I must say it has improved somewhat since being on various treatments for the last 3 years - doesn't happen quite as frequently.

I also get many of the symptoms listed by yourself and others - numb patches (more numb than the rest of my body) - on my right outer thigh, back of scalp, etc. My skin is very sore and rips easily. I have burning pain mainly on my trunk area that gets worse after I eat. Lots and lots of wierd things.

So know you're not alone!

Best Wishes,
B

I too have Raynaud's. My hands get ice cold if I am on the computer too long, especially. That and my right forarm. Sometimes the cold feels like it is deep in my bone.

Good to know I'm not loosing my mind. Well, not completely. [bonk]

I get this too. I have to say Lyrica has helped. It doesnt treat the cause of the sensations but changes the way your body feels them.

I just posted a question about this very thing!! Over the weekend, I experienced numbness and tingling on my nose and fingers/hand. It seemed to be brought on by physical activity and cold wind and or the sun. I got a very severe sunburn over one part of my hand where the sensation was... my nose feels as if it is about to float off my face.
