Hi,
Bluebird163 has a fine post about this on another thread (Bay Area Members pls read) ) but I thought if I put Marie's name in the title of the thread it would help get attention. Hope that's okay.

I met two of the people who came from Canada with Marie to Northern California to get treated. Marie as many know is very ill and at present the family is here in the expensive Bay Area in a hotel.

If you have ideas on how we could support their efforts to stay near the doc and get treatment please PM me or Bluedbird 163.

HI THERE...

may i respectfully suggest you add more to your subject line; example

Canada's Marie; any ideas for supporting her while in Calif?

now we specifically know it's the marie from canada we've been reading about; have seen her you tube video, etc.

we also know you are looking for ideas on supporting her during the months here for lyme treatment.

to edit, click paper/pencil on right side of your 1ST POST, that opens up SUBJECT line and body text.

it would also be helpful if you can find bluebird's post, and show that direct link in YOUR post here.

thanks; we all are to confused enough w/neuro lyme, and we can NOT read all posts ok!

also, did you go to my newbie package, there is 25_+ pages on FINANCIAL BURDENS ... ideas galore! start there. go by my instructions on 1st page in table of contents!

good luck! [group hug] [kiss]

It's in General Support:

Don't be surprised if this thread also ends up there.

My family was wondering if anyone has heard anything about Marie, and how she's doing.

Does anyone know, or have a clue?

Thank you

This is a May 31 post that one of her travel mates posted on canlyme.com

"Two of us lymies who accompanied Marie and her Father to the U.S. are back home as of this Saturday evening.

Marie is of course still having a rough time, but now being in the good hands of a very respected LLMD, things will progress slowly and carefully.

Things are settling down after all this crazy travel and moving from one location to the other. Yes we are more hopefull and we are thankful for seeing a top doc in the field of Lyme.

Please remember the save marie campaign and spread the word as donations will continually be needed, they'll be staying there for at least a few months.

If you know of accomodations that would feel a bit more like home in the area south of San Francisco, then please contact [email protected]

For donation information, refer to the "Posted Sticky" SAVE MARIE CAMPAIGN

Thanks for your support and prayers for Marie and family."

***************************************************

Her LLMD is in Redwood City CA so I would guess that is the area they need to be close to for housing.

i had to increase to 200% to see anything, and that is perhaps 25% of screen.

why is your board so SUPER WIDE? just trying to understand as i had to SOB it .... couldn't read a thing! [Frown]

Canlyme's board goes wide when someone posts a long link. You can always cut and paste the post and make it the font the size you want it to be.

She is seeing Dr. H.
