For the past few days I've noticed my legs and feet changing color.

My legs tingle all the time as of late. I feel a lot of pressure. Kind of like..... when I was pregnant and my stomach was huge. Although I could stand to lose a few pounds, that's not the case.

I try not stay in one position for very long.

I am so frustrated and very emotional about it.

Ya know when you get to the point....one step forward, 10 steps back. That's where I am.

Any suggests?

Hello Peck [Smile]

First off, sorry you're feeling down about this, I and others can relate, but maybe I have a clue?

What is your dx? How long ago were you dx? What have your treatments been?

I ask this since I and others here suffer from what 'might' be vasculitis and/or hypercoagulation? This is said to be extremely common (80-90%) among those with Lyme and other tick born infections.

Most of the time the sx's we're talking about in relation to Lyme are considered neuropathy, however I question this since symptoms improve with movement, is this true in your case?

If so, I'd ask your DR/LLMD about vasculitis. There are reportedly successful tx's for this, namely ABX and Heparin. Something to ask about?

More to the sx's, YES, I know exactly what you mean by the tingly and 'pressurized' feelings. I get this very quickly while seated and it 'instantly' improves upon standing/moving. Again, is this similar to your sx?

Please Take Care, MBB3

Hey Peck - I have the same thing...very poor circulation.

It seems if I'm not standing straight up, something is falling asleep.

Never had this before lyme! I also get the same pressurized feeling - sometimes in my arms, sometimes in my legs.

Hang in there!

Lauren

Me too, legs and arms would fall asleep all the time. I get that pressurised feeling in my arms in the morning. Its all getting better with treatment. It will for you too.

If I sat on the toilet for too long I would be like bambi on ice when I stood up! [Wink]

I've been on doxy and ceftin since feb. Before that plaquenil and biaxin.

It doesn't really improve when I move, it just changes where the discomfort is.

I find the discomfort much more for the 10 days before I get my period and then it lessons. The inflammation is out of control.

I should probably go to my gyn. SICK of doctors though.

I already see a neurologist. I just keep getting the paranoid feeling of something being wrong with my ovaries.

It's 3 am and I have not yet fallen asleep. My legs are driving me crazy.

I'm on neurotin as well. NOT working.

too much on my mind....what's left of it that is.
