Hi,

I have had strange symptoms for the last few years. After lots of reading I narrowed down to a few possibilities. Lyme was not on the short list.

Completely by fate I found this website a few months ago. I never thought Lyme was a possibility because I do not remember a tick bite.

Reading through everything here made me send off for IGenex WB. The results are below.

I do not have an appt with an LLMD for several weeks. Should I go ahead and have my Co-infection panels done before then? I would appreciate any input on my WB or getting the
Co-infection panels done.

WB IgG:

**31 IND

**39 IND

**41 +

all others neg.

WB IgM:

**23-25 +

**31 +

**39 IND

**41 +

66 +

**83-93 IND

all others neg.

Input? Thanks in advance!

Looks like Lyme.

I did have the coinfection panels done prior to my LLMD appt. since I was waiting for so many weeks for the appt.

Yes, looks like Lyme! You're a good detective!!

Read this for more on the Western Blot:

http://tinyurl.com/ffn3x

You have many Lyme specific bands. If it were ME, I would go ahead with coinfection testing. Fry labs is cheaper on that and just as good as Igenex.

[newbies... Use Igenex for the Lyme testing... they're the best!]

Welcome to Lymenet and keep reading!!

I agree with all the others. Definitely looks like Lyme. [Frown]

I had a Fish test for babesia done at Igenex.

Problem is they only test for two strains.

There are many known strains of babesia.

I am on my 3rd treatment for babesia as I have all the symptoms and herx like crazy on the meds.

It wouldn't hurt to have the co-infection testing done, but

Like Lyme, the tests aren't that reliable unless they are targeting the strain you have.

Hugs,

Geneal
