I've completed one year on a variety of oral antibiotics (and supplements and gluten-free diet)...with no noticeable improvement.
I am currently working, exercise regularly (one hour, three times per week), and I also avoid sugar in my diet.
I tested positive for Babesia in early April--and started Zith/Mepron treatment immediately. Again, no noticeable improvement.
My LLMD suggested that I may want to consider taking a break from antibiotics after I complete three months of Mepron.
She also suggested considering IV antibiotics down the road.
Any thoughts/suggestions on 1. taking a break and 2. IV at this point in my treatment?

In my opinion, if you just started babs treatment, you should give it a chance. If you've had it 20 years and have only been treating it 2 months, you might not feel a difference for a little while.
I've been treating babs for 17 months. I'm doing a lot better and have totally normal days, but when I stop babs treatment the air hunger and night sweats return. It can take some time.
If you had been treating babs all along, I'd say take the break and try IV ...... but babs can cause some serious symptoms and you're just starting with it.
Since Lyme can hide behind babs, I wouldn't stop treating the Lyme either.
