I had a very similar rash ( so did my husband) from head to toe.. It seemed to look like ring worm so I was biopsied in Stony Brooke. They could not find the cause
It went away with IV Rocephin... I believe it was the Bartonella as well. However my LLMD said it was the lyme.

Maybe its your bart, D.
BTW, the toprol... are you always on that? I bet your BP would go up if you stopped it, but don't do so without doctor's permission. Needs to be stopped gradually if you've been on it awhile.

you know, i used a hot heating pad for my back and got the same thing. it was a huge area, dark red with spots or something.
hubbie just thought i kept it on too long and burned myself. but it didn't feel like a burn.
i'd say something to do with lyme, but what i don't know.

J - Nope, there was a few months where I was off the Toprol because my heart rate went down and stayed at a good pulse by itself. Then after Biaxin/Bactrim combo it went racing again and has been that way since. But when I was off the Toprol for those few months my blood pressure was still low - 90/50 or 80/40.
I'm going to ask my new LLMD about my low blood pressure. Might have to do with dysautonomia.
