I appreciate hearing as I did notice difference with generic vs brand Ambien.

When you guys first started taking the Cortef (or generic) did you have the "thyroid dump" issues that many report???
How did it make you feel at first?? More fatigued??? Many who've alredy been on thyroid meds like Armour actually had to stop the Armour, get used to the Cortef, and then restart the Armour.
I would love to hear any experiences with starting Cortef...Thanks!

Didn't notice that, but I wasn't looking for it either. Things vary enough for me that it is hard to trace differences, but I didn't notice.

I was on Armour Thyroid first...something I was put on before my lyme diagnosis. After lyme, and more testing of the adrenals, my LLMD put me on cortef.
For me, I was always on the generic so I don't know any difference first hand. Also, I don't recall any issues with having to stop the Armour thyroid to get use to the Cortef.
I always seem to have trouble adjusting to any new med, so I am sure I would have just chalked it up to that.
But no...nothing that stands out as being totally 'off'.
