OK, I have been posting a lot lately about all the hormone/adrenal/herxing problems I have been having.

I went back on doxy 200mg a day and pulsing with zithro 250mg every other day because I herx like mad if I take the zithro any stronger or more frequently.

I did get a Rx for a lower dose of Diflucan and will be seeing if I can tolerate 50mg better than 200mg.

I sent everything I have had done testing wise and changes in protocol that my ILADS NP has been doing to my LLMD; he called this morning and told me to go off the abx and switch to Flagyl.......for some of you I know this has been a wonder drug, and others not so much. He warned me to start it very slowly (a sliver) of a pill).

When do I take this during the day? What can I not take with it, or within a certain time frame?

If you still have problems with yeast on the lower dose of Diflucan, maybe ask your doctor if you can take it at a higher dose every other day.

2 of my physicians told me that Diflucan stays in the body for several days, so it is easier on the body to dose every other day (or every 3 days). Check with your doctor though. I never looked up the info, but I'm trusting it since I heard it from 2 separate informed sources.
