I'm wondering if it's the IV ROC making me feel terrible or is it that my condition is worsening.guess only time will tell. After one week at 1g a day,I felt no different, then week 2 I doubled to 2g a day.Immediately after pushing past the first g,,I started feeling fatigued and very week, and I haven't bounced back at all since. If I knew it was a herx,I'd be happy, and ride it out,but I can hardly walk or stand I am so weak, actually took a spill yesterday,(way too old for that)!

I also became terribly weak on IV Rocephin but I was at a much higher dose. 4 grams daily 7 days per week.

it was at about week 8 that I became bedbound with weakness and dry heaves....for me i think it was too much medicine....for you, it may be a herx or trouble w/ toxins.

Are you detoxing?

I assume you are on Destolit (ursodoxycholic) for Bile excretion/to stop bilary sludging

Also I assume you are having your LFT checked Bi-weekly to ensure they are not elavated

If the above is OK then you MUST detox hard with Rocephin

DETOX

Nutramedix Parsley and Burbur
Vitamin C 3x1000 per day
IV Glutathione 3 x week 2gms per IV
Tonnes of water
I also do weekly colonics with Rectal Refloridisation

You MUST detox hard otherwise you run a very big risk of having such a high toxin load you can get worse and worse - I know as it happened to me and I was in Hell, had to come of all AB's for 4 months and work on detox before I could tollerate any Antibiotic.

I'm now back on IV AB's and doing hard detox and am doing so much better - People think AB's are the answer but without removing the damaging BLP Neurotoxins you will have a very hard time.
