I have done a search on lymenet and saw scattered comments regarding Chlorella. I was wondering about expierences anyone has had. How long have you been using it, feeling the effects, are there side effects (herx like symptoms?) any feedback is welcome!

I started taking it about two years ago when I started with my current LLMD. I had no side effects but I remember working my way up to the proper dose. I take four little pills 2 x per day and just added one a day until I had the full dose.

I take bio pure's chlorella....great quality...google and you'll find...
depending how 'toxic' i feel I 'll adjust my dose...
I'll normally chew about 25-40 tablets on an empty stomach, till its a big green glob in my mouth...and down them with lots of water and a toothepick to get more out of my teeth...
then wait and eat about 30-40min after...the waiting to eat has the theory of squirting bile to help carry out the work the chlorella has done(toxins)...if I remember that correctly....

if you get a headache or achey or feel worse, then you need to take MORE!that's always the sign, feels worse= take more to bind up more toxins...

That's kind of hard core KauaiGoddess... I don't think I could chew the stuff. My cat goes crazy over it, though. He can't seem to get enough of it.
I think if you eat some "healthy" fat like an egg or some cream cheese, it causes the gall bladder to dump bile.
I think I recall about that... I used to do that when I took Welchol.
My doctor suggested to do that 45 minutes after taking the Welchol. I think you're trying to do the same thing with the chlorella... sounds good.
Do a search of this message board & you'll find alot of info about chlorella.
Many people use it to absorb toxins.
