Hi all--

Lately, I've been noticing bruising on my legs--doesn't seem to be going away. Along with this is extreme exhaustion, fevers, night sweats and headaches. I am not sure what to do at this point, or what this might suggest. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! :-)

I do have Chronic Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella and CFS, for reference.

Hi Julie,

Those are all symptoms that are very suggestive of Babesia. I hope you are being treated?

You may want to have some blood work done to check for anemia and platlet counts.

However, I am on my 3rd round of babesia treatment,

And my legs are covered with bruises too.

Hugs,

Geneal

I feel it is Babesia, but then I am concerned about anemia as well, which is sometimes an issue for me. Anyway, I do think more bloodwork is warranted..yuck..hate it, but it is necessary. Thank you for all of this though, and Geneal, I am sorry your legs are covered with bruises as well. [Frown]

Are the bruises on the upper or lower parts of your legs?

I have them on my shins but my Babesia is considered in remission...but I watch like a hawk.

Please let me know where yours are located on legs.

Thanks!
