Cumanda: Nutramedix.com
HH capsules: hepapro.com

One person took 15 capsules of Olive Leaf EXTRACT daily and it beat her Bart down.

Hope that helps,

Morgan,

I know you're asking about Bart and non-abx pills. But I'm gonna go off on a slight tangent here and try to offer some help that does NOT involve pills or meds.

I had Lyme disease for 25years. Started taking high dose abx and other meds 4 y ago. Did so for 1 1/2 years but it didn't really help except help a little to take the brunt off my neuro symptoms.

But today I'm fine. Better than I can ever remember that I have felt, except for some minor occasional chest pains and memory problems which I think are unrelated to Lyme.

What ended up really brining me back on my feet was a change to my diet and exercise.

People here will tell you to drop carbs. To not even eat potatoes or any breads. Their reason being that carbs turn into glucose which feeds the bacteria.

Even though true, IMO this is not true for all people. Some people are naturally carb types and need carbs as their main source of energy. IOW, they don't do well at all without the carbs. Personally, though, carbs was and is a main problem for me. So I'm very cautious about which and how much carbs I eat.

To make a long story short, you need to find out which nutritional type you are. Go to google and type in "metabolic typing" and you'll find a large number of sites discussing this issue and allowing you to determine your own nutritional type for free.

Your specific nutritional type is crucial for your health in general, but also for your recovery from any illness. It'll tell you how to eat for your specific body. Health will naturally follow. Your immune system will naturally reach its full capacity. Your weight will naturally settle at its optimum value. Etc...

Most people that come here on Lymenet are talking about pills. I for one do not buy into pills anymore. We are way too complex beings for a single, or two or three, pills to do the job. Besides the Lyme bacteria is an extremely crafty little critter.

It takes a much more holistic approach to heal yourself from chronic Lyme disease.

I detoxify, eat, exercise and mentally condition myself on a daily basis.

You may also be interested in something called the "bloodtype" diet. I don't really totally subscribe to this. However, I've learned alot about which food do and do not agree with me. IOW, I've become more atuned to listening and obeying the signal from my body. Note that the bloodtype diet and metabolic typing are orthorgonal issues.

I'm not a doctor and the above is entirely IMO.

Michael

I'm not an MD. The above is IMO and in my experience as well as from health related books.

I've had symptoms consistent with neurological Lyme disease since 1986. Was diagnosed with Lyme in 2004. Am feeling better now than ever before.
