Hi,
I ve been taking Enula 15 drops twice a day ( i know ur supposed to take 30 though for my weight am working up to 25)for about 10 days and really noticing some loose bowels right now. ive stopped it for today but am wondering if it is the enula. im also on the Buhner protocol and its been going really well, over a period of about 6 weeks ive worked up to level 2 out of 4 levels of dosing (6 of each herb per day or 3,3xday - again adjusted for my weight level) I wouldnt have thought the herbs would suddenly cause diarrhea after so long, does anyone else have an opinion on this?
im hoping its the enula because i would rather lower that than have to stop the buhner herbs which have been going so well!!
Thanks everyone in advance for any advice:))

More people have first-hand experience with this but there have been posts about Enula causing loose stools.

If you'd like an answer sooner than later, try doing a search on Enula and select Subject rather than entire message.

I remember a few long threads with lots of details but I KNOW that what you're going through is totally normal!

Best,

When I first started Enula I had loose stools when I started at 5 drops twice daily. Now, I take 30 drops twice daily and I don't have that anymore.

I've been on Enula for over a month, and can't really tell if it's working. I just take it and it has no effect, although it tastes bitter.

Thank u for the replies and Clarissa thank you for going to all the trouble to post all those links for me, that is so helpful!
Also Cheryl Sue it is reassuring to hear that you dont get the loose stools on it anymore, i wondered if it was a detox reaction. I decided to take a day off today anyway and the diarrhea has stopped (i know that Dr Cowden recommends taking a day off every 12 days too and i had just done 10 so pretty close;)) I just started a new job today (a temporary one) so i think i might wait to restart until the weekend. I felt like it was causing some die off, a little extra tiredness that went away when i stopped it etc so i like to think it was killing something that needs to be killed hopefully Babesia! thanks again, guys:)
