If you're new to Biaxin, it sounds like a herx. It generally takes me six weeks to adjust to a new med, hang in there.
With the reaction you were having before, it sounds like the meds were keeping the symptoms down, but when you got off the meds, the symptoms came right back.

I would certainly keep an eye on this. I have not yet used Biaxin for Lyme, yet when I used it before for other infections it was ineffective. I also struggle with using some of the other meds you mentioned because they just don't seem to hit the problem. I would definitely call the doc after a couple more weeks if this persists and you are worried it is due to ineffectiveness.

I herxed very strongly when starting biaxin, and had increased joint pain. If you started it within about six weeks, it could be the die-off reactions, otherwise known as herxes!
