My Igenex IGG was negative with **41 IND

My Igenex IGM was negative with
**31 IND
**39 IND

So, do I consider the IND positives? If so, what do you think they indicate, just lyme or any co-infection. Bart, Microplasma and Erhlric.. all negative. And I was on Doxy at the time of testing.

My symptoms were similar to BABS, but she didnt test me for it.

Is band #39 indicative that I have had this for a while? We thought I only had it since December 2007 or January 2008.

or do these results indicate I should be looking for something other than lyme?

Any thoughts would be seriously appreciated. Thank you! [Smile]

Band 31 is Lyme. Most LLMDs consider an IND as a positive. It's a clinical diagnosis so you must consider your IGeneX result, which is meaningful, and your symptoms.

If it were me I would start treating for Lyme.

Sounds like it's worth it to test for Babs, too, if you are having symptoms.

I forgot to mention that band **41++ was positive as well as 39 & 31 being IND.

That sounds to me like you are positive for Lyme. How long were you on ABX when you got tested? I imagine the IND will turn up + once you have been on ABX for awhile longer.

Hi Dawnee,

My first Labco*p western blot showed bands 23 & 41 before abx.

I had just finished a 3 week course of doxy at 200 mg prescribed by my md when I had the Igenex testing.

Then saw the LLMD and she put me on Biaxin XL for 30 days. I havent really had any herx reactions on either meds. Will be going back to her on July 9.

All coinfections from Igenex came back negative. Not sure why band 23 didnt show on Igenex, it did with Labco*p.

I was wondering if I should ask to have a CD 57 test so that I know how long I have had lyme, or any other tests that can help pinpoint when I actually started with lyme. Any suggestions for further testing?

[confused]

I didnt have a "bullseye" but weird bruiselike marks in January. Did not see tick.
