Hello all, I am on 400 mg of Doxy.... I take it in the morning and night 5am /5pm...

my concern is that I have been screwing up my treatment by taking the charcoal... which I take 4 to 5 hours with 4 squeezed lemons in hot water after my ABX.. then a fiber shake.

I started doing this since before my bite as routine detox 2 to 3 times a week...

basically I am going to stop but I hope I haven't moved myself into stage two Lyme...by removing the ABX from my system

I got bit on June 10th and have been taking Doxy since... 200 mg 2x's daily now 400mg's 2x' daily.

only problem was I was also doing Oral EDTA which I have been told removes ABX from system as well..

So I am stressing

I imagine/hope that I haven't pulled all the ABX out of my system......can someone please advise ...I am freaking myself out...

If you mean that you were taking the charchol 4-5 hours before/after you had taken your doxy, you should be fine.

On some charchol it says 6 hours others 2. I think you're o.k.. I don't have any knowledge about your other supplement.

Hubby has always taken activated charcoal at least 2 hours away from oral antibiotics and other supplements.

If that is what you were doing it should not be a problem.

Limonene is one of the "H16" "helpers".

;-)

SJW is another.

Rocephin...look at the molecular formula. Nice try.

ATP...look at the molecular formula.

Warfarin...look at the molecular formula.

The list goes on.

The "H16" group...is a classification for vascular damage.

I wanna know what our Army has in its "H16" kits.

A/C (activated charcoal) is to be taken 2 hours before or after abx or any other med.

My experienc here and many links: http://www.truthaboutlymedisease.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=286

Just be more careful when you take it.

Ok so rather than sit and stew... I called poison control and asked them if A/C-harcoal would eliminate theraputic dose from the blood stream and the answer was a definite NO...only if you take it whilst metabolizing it in the GI tract so no sooner than 3 before or after ABX ingestion....
