You can listen to the interview at the links below. It has been uploaded in 3 parts.

I wish they'd been able to devote more time to the interview. It's hard to cover such a complex topic in a short amount of time. And I wish they had covered the fact that SO many States are now hyper-endemic and that this disease is an epidemic. And that Lyme can be transmitted by additional vectors (i.e., sandflies, biting flies, mosquitos, etc.).

Thanks to Andy for being persistent and spreading the word on Lyme. And I think a thank you also is deserving to Mike O'Meara for opening up the discussion and sharing his radio time on the issue.

Andy is an absolute hero in my book.

He's a great spokesman for us.

I was diagnosed with and treated for late stage Lyme in 1991 with 6 weeks of doxycycline. Initially felt better, but then developed health problems that last until today.

I personally hope that Andy's publicity tour will be a long one. The more members of the media that he can spend time with the better for us.

We generally don't see in-depth discussions on issues like these in mainstream media unless a book or movie is being promoted. I'm glad that we, as Lyme patients, are seeing both right now! The documentary "Under Our Skin" and Pamela Weintraub's definitive book "Cure Unknown."

So, I'll say it again, long may the publicity tours continue! lol
