How long does it take for you to feel bad if you are late or miss a dose of antibiotics?
The reason I ask is I can feel my symptoms growing worse the hour or so prior to my next scheduled dose. What do you think this means?
My first thought is that the drugs are working because the symptoms are going away. How do I know if I am actually killing something and not masking the symptoms. I do not believe that I have ever herxed. I hate to think I am not killing the bugs.

It's different for everyone. It also depends on where each person is in their treatment.
For example, I've been off abx for a month (per hematologist) and have had some bad days but most of them have been okay/so-so.
I think it's just different for everyone. Some people can go a week or longer without feeling bad.
It also depends on a person's co-infections, etc.
