I started bicillin shots two weeks ago and plaquenil around the same time.
I'm so dizzy I'm literally careening around the house and don't dare drive.
Not like vertigo, just plain dizzy.
bicillin? palquenil? both? doomed?

I had the same reaction to both at first. It passed pretty quickly for me after the first couple of weeks.
Two weeks is not a long time if you have had lyme for a while. Hang in there and try to rest!

Lucky for you you didn't have dizziness before. Sounds like you might be herxing.
I have consistent dizziness that makes me unsafe to drive. And, I bump into walls in unfamiliar places. I learned to put my hand out to my side & follow the wall so it was just my hands that hit instead of my whole body. I look rather funny doing this, but it's worth it to keep the black and blues away.
Part of my dizziness is my eyes. I have eye teaming problems that cause difficulty with depth perception. When I'm moving, it's worse because my eyes can't adjust fast enough.
I hope yours goes away quickly. It's such an annoying symptom.

I get that way when I am herxing. I also got really dizzy when I first started Plaquenil too. It lasted about 2 weeks and then let up.
I start the Bicillin in a few days so I will probably be having it again.
It is listed as a side effect of both meds though. If it doesn't let up give your LLMD a call. The dosage might have to be adjusted. You might need to build up slowly.

Yes, I was aware that Plaguenil might cause dizziness and started with half the dose and went to full dose. The dizziness was relentless.
My doc said to stop and now I am just doing Zith and bicillin. I reacted well to bicillin right away and it did not make me dizzy but does make me emotional.
He want me to be sure to be on a cyst buster and said to keep taking collodial silver for that pupose. I know there are many non-believers out there, but that's what he said.
