I figured since quite a few people are buying lightworks i thought it would be a good idea to start a thread on how it's being used. hopefully this will help other...Like me lol

Maybe we can post where we are using it. What modes we are using..how long we are using it for and so on...let's beat the hell out of these bugs

There are other devices people can try, too. I have a LightWorks but people can use other devices if they want to try them out.

It's just that the LightWork seemed to have all the best qualities for the least amount of money.

I try different Nogier frequencies when I use the device. Here's a listing of the frequencies & what they are associated with:

1. (Frequency F, 73 Hz) For use when cellular activity is hypoactive, such as chronic recurring problems, nonunion fractures and chronic splints and for stimulation of osteoid. It is also helpful in activating humoral and endocrine functions. Field work has shown setting 1 helpful in stimulating (tonifying) acupuncture and trigger points and increasing circulation in areas being treated, such as wounds when past the acute stage.

2. (Frequency G, 147 Hz) For areas of yellow scar tissue that are generally formed internally on tendons, ligaments and sub-acute (lingering but not chronic) conditions. Field use has shown setting 2 to be helpful in reducing inflammation associated with injuries and infections. This is often called the universal frequency because most problems involve inflammation.

3. (Frequency A, 294 Hz.) For tissue of ectodermal origin, such as body openings, skin and nerve. Field applications include wounds, eye injuries and after surgery. Setting 3 tends to tone tissue while minimizing the chance of hemorrhaging fresh wounds or recent surgical sites. It is also good for the treatment of acupuncture and trigger points, corneal ulcers and ulcerated mucous membranes. This is called the universal frequency in acupuncture.

4. (Frequency B, 587 Hz.) This frequency appears to be most effective for neuropathy, but also for circulatory and lymphatic stimulation and treatment of tissue of endodermal origin, such as GI tract, liver and pancreas. In field applications, setting 4 has been used in conjunction with 5 and 2 for tendon, ligament, joint and other injuries where reaching secondary levels of tissue is needed.

5. (Frequency C, 1174 Hz.) For tissue of mesodermal origin, such as bone, joints, ligament, viscera and tendon. Field experience has shown setting 5 to be especially good for tendon and ligament injuries when used with 4 and 2. It also helps in relaxing large muscle groups.

6. (Frequency D, 2349 Hz.) For chronic conditions not responsive to setting 3 or 5. Field experience shows setting 6 to be a good supplement to 3 when healing processes appear to reach a plateau.

7. (Frequency E, 4698 Hz.) For pain control, primarily when C nerve fibers are transmitting to dorsal root ganglia and when involvement of neurotransmitters is of physiological importance. Field experience shows 7 to help suppress pain and to sedate acupuncture and trigger points and aid in diminishing excess calcification associated with chips, spurs and arthritic conditions.

The relevant settings for some patients are:

* #2 for anti-inflammatory effects
* #3 for nerve involvement
* #4 to improve circulation
* #5 to encourage new bone growth
* #7 for pain (if applicable)

----

I haven't used it long enough to determine a pattern, yet.

I use the light on:

both inside wrists
heart area
forehead
crown of the head
belly button area
both ears

not in any particular order

I also use it on any area I'm having pain with such as shoulder blades, lower back, back of the neck, ovaries & uterus, gums, etc.

I use it for 5 minutes in each spot or a little longer if it feels good.

Some days I skip it. I don't know if it's necessary to do it every day. I guess you have to see if you are overdoing it or if you need it more. I think you can tell if you "listen" to your body.

It also may be slightly sore if you overdo it. It's not a big thing & it goes away in a day.

The first time I used it, I felt a bit discombobulated for the next day or so.

I think it's best to go slow at first & see how you respond. Everyone is different.

Don't forget to drink lots of water & do some light exercise if you can.

Get the lymph moving. I like to do some rebounding.

Thanks Sparkle, mine arrived today and I wasn't quite sure which settings I needed or wanted to use.

My first experience - this also involves stopping plaquenil today because it makes me so dizzy and tired ( I slept most of the weekend away).

This afternoon I was just about to crash but went to the mailbox and there was my Lightworks.

I used it for 1/2 hour total on the places you mentioned as well as a couple of minutes of my eyes.

I figured I would just fall asleep at 4:30 pm like I had for the past few days, but....

After in finished my treatment I got up, fixed dinner and have much more energy than I have had in days.

I really, really liked the way it felt on my back. I fractured a vertebrae some years back and have had pretty constant pain there since getting Lyme.

So far, I am very pleased but it's just day one.

I'm so glad to hear it, NanaDubo!

The light feel very soothing on sore areas like my back & for the pre-menstrual cramps I'm having.

I'm a bit off balance since I stopped using the bio-identical hormone replacement I was using (it has nothing to do with the infrared light therapy - I just got tired of using them).

So, I've been having some weird stuff going on due to that. The LightWorks has helped with everything...

I've heard that the infrared light can also balance the endocrine system - so, I hope this will be the case.

Good luck everyone!

What are the 11 points that we are supposed to use the lightworks on? If this was already posted, can someone tell me where?

Also how many minutes at each point (and I am assuming the infrared side- is that right?)

Should we keep doing auto or pick and choose what frequency?

I started using mine, but have no clue what I am doing here.

thanks!

Look at the 2nd post on this thread & read through it. I posted the frequencies & the places where I use the light.

There's no hard set rule on using this device.

I think Bob in Maryland may do it a little differently.

I guess you have to do a little experimenting to find what works best for you.

thanks, I did read your post and it was so helpful.

I was just wondering (I think I read it mentioned somewhere) that there are 11 points with the Bionic 880, so I was wondering if anyone knew what they are.

Also, wondering if anyone knows how long on each point?

How are you doing with it? Hope you are continuing to improve!

Hopefully the following chart helps describe at least 7 of the points. The remaining 4 points include each ear and the wrists (palm side):

 -

I'm doing each location from 5 to 7 minutes so far. I started on Saturday.

Sorry, I couldn't find a female version of the chart. [lol]

I started today at each point on the chart posted using the frequency I thought most appropriate. Plus I did my arthritic foot. I forgot about the ears and wrists.

I did 5 minutes at each point and we will see if I overdid it, but I do have enough energy now to go for a walk and I did not before using the device.

First day-probably placebo effect. My foot still hurts for sure. Hiker53

My boyfriend thought it was the placebo effect until alot of his pain went away. He has a bad condition with his arms called stenosis & it's very painful for him.

It's not a placebo effect. There are zillions of studies about how infrared & other types of light effect the body.

The studies have mainly been done in Eastern Europe & Russia. I listed some on another thread here call "healing with light" or something.

You just have to gradually shift your paradigm of medicine to include the possibilities that this is real medicine.

It has been suppressed in this country for a long time due to the pharmaceutical industry.

Sparkle,

I did not mean that lightworks does not work. I am excited about this technology and if the reports from Europe are good I would go over for the 880 treatment with Dr. W. I was impressed with the company--they said there would be a delay in shipping and gave me $25 off, but it only took a week to reach me.

I just meant that since I was excited about getting my machine yesterday that my extra energy afterwards might have been a placebo affect, since I only used it once. I plan to continue using it.

Sparkle...since ultimately this is causing ADP-> ATP...

ATP drives Mg back INTO the cell.

So it might be a good idea to take some Mg (with a B50 complex) about one hour before using the machine so that Mg is "there" to be transported into the cells to make:

Mg-ATP.

Thank you so much for posting the chart!

How do you know which frequency to use on each point?

Do you use the auto at all or just specific frequencies- and we are mostly focusing on the infrared side right, not the red side?

sorry for all of the questions.

thanks

Maureen there is no rush to figure out the benefits of each frequency. The AUTO cycles through all of them in intervals. It might be saver and easier to just use the auto setting.

I've improved from yesterday, almost feel normal at times.

Just used the 660nm side yesterday, I'll probably do all the points again tonight.

Marnie great idea about magnesium. I've been eating a lot of 88% cacao dark chocolate lately. I seem to crave it. Instead of a supplement, chocolate seems like a better idea. [lol]

No problem, hiker... Sometimes people sound gruff over the message board. I wasn't meaning it like that.

When I started using this device, I started to realize the difference in the quality of the light for healing as opposed to taking a "substance".

The way the light makes me feel is that it's working on my body on a different level then a drug or supplement.

I guess that's why it seems suited to combine with homeopathy.

I thought about it & decided to continue with the Cowden herbs & some supplements. I'm also taking bee venom honey.

I'm feeling kind of wiped out but there are moments when I feel almost completely better. I think this is going in a very good direction. I feel like my pain is breaking up or lessening.

I don't know which frequency to use. I usually use the ones that seem closer to my symptoms. I haven't tried the auto function. I think I've been using mostly F, G & B.

I think the red 660 nm side is more for surface issues like skin & things closer to the surface. I haven't tried it. My boyfriend is trying it on his head to grow hair!

My boyfriend is already there, 6goofy! LOL

I think you use the red side for that - maybe A frequency?

Still doing good with this device. I have been able to cut back on pain meds quite alot.

I don't see it as a cure but it's really helping!

Mode A, 292 Hz
Cellular Vitality: Used to assist wound healing; skin and nerve repair; reduce scar tissue, inflammation and tumors. Resonates with the Ectoderm (outermost tissue) that forms skin, glands, nerves, eyes, ears, teeth, brain and spinal cord.

Mode B, 584 Hz
Nutritional Metabolism: Used to improve nutritional assimilation, allergy problems and to balance the parasympathetic nervous system. Resonates with Endoderm (innermost tissue) that forms the lining of the intestinal tract, the lungs, the bladder, the urethra, and the auditory tube. It also forms the thyroid gland, the thymus, the liver, the gall bladder and the pancreas.

Mode C, 1,168 Hz
Movement: Used for muscle, skeletal and myofascial pain.* Resonates with Mesoderm (middle tissue) that forms connective tissue such as ligaments, tendons, cartilage, muscle, bone; also heart, blood and lymph vessels, kidneys, ovaries, testes, spleen, and the cortex of the adrenal gland.

Mode D, 2,336 Hz
Coordination: Used for balance between the two sides of the brain. May also help reduce and handle stress.
Veterinary experience: Use in addition to Modes A and C for chronic conditions.

Mode E, 4,672 Hz
Nerves: Used for spinal and skin disorders. Resonates with the spinal cord and peripheral nervous system. Also considered helpful for pain control.
Veterinary experience: To reduce excess calcification such as bone spurs and arthritic joints.

Mode F, 73 Hz
Emotional Reactions: Resonates with the subcortical or lower regions of the brain. Includes the thalamus and hypothalamus--two major control centers for body functions. May also help with muscle spasms, facial pain, headaches and depression. Has been used for non-healing bone fractures. May also help to balance hormones.
Veterinary experience: To stimulate acupuncture points and improve circulation.

Mode G, 146 Hz
Intellectual Organization: Used for memory and psychological disorders. Resonates with the cerebral cortex of the brain--involved with thinking, imagining and creating. May help with nervousness and worry.
Veterinary experience: To reduce yellow scar tissue on tendons and ligaments as well as reduce inflammation.
