hi everyone,. I haven't been on in along time because i've been so ill.. i'll write another intro when i have energy....
basically, i've been on antibiotics on and off for 5 years and they've done nothing but make me herx horrendously and gave me horrible yeast problems.... i am originally from NY and moved to AZ 2 years ago.... there are not many llmd's here.... i am not getting too far with the dr i have now and i was wondering if i should go back to dr h in ny (my original llmd) and get on the cowden protocol.... many people tell me not to waste a trip and to do it myself but i am afraid to take stuff on my own because of horrible reactions...... also.. i've heard people refer to the "limited" and "full" cowden protocol... can someone explain to me what they mean and if I WERE to start cowden on my own, which ones would be essential (first I MUST detox and cannot do detox baths or infrared saunas anymore due to a problem with an elevated heart rate and bp (autonomic dysfunction disorder)
Thanks for any info you can give me.. i am at my wits end trying to find what will work, if anything.

Personally, I would go back to Dr. H in NY because he uses other supps as well to compliment Cowden. He won't have you coming up as regularly since you wouldn't be on a full abx protocol (in fact with just herbs, he will do phone consults since you can take them on your own).

The full Cowden is all of the tinctures you need & a couple of supplements. They give you all the herbs & a schedule to follow so you know when to take which herb.
You can buy it on a monthly basis. They used to have a program where you can get it for free if you go through a doctor's office. I'm not sure if they still have it.
The limited Cowden is when you pick & choose which herbs to take.
If you can afford it - it's probably better to do the full Cowden protocol. I started on the limited Cowden but my doctor was able to get the full Cowden for me.
Some people don't like me to mention this but I've have found great relief from using infrared. You may want to take a look at the threads about the Bionic 880 & LightWorks devices.
I've been ill for over 10 years & I've tried almost everything. The infrared light really helps. I'm continuing with the herbs but this really made a big difference.

Thanks for the link about the Laserdetox... I think that's probably similar to what some of us are doing with the LightWorks.
If anyone has done this or has more info - please post it so we can learn about it!
